After the district was impacted by the March 15, 2025, tornado, Neoga students experienced firsthand the incredible support and generosity of their community. In appreciation, Neoga High School students participate in an annual Community Service Day, giving back through volunteer projects.

Over the past two years, some of the students' efforts have included volunteering at Camp New Hope and Heartland Senior Living, helping clean up and beautify the community, assisting at the Neoga Public Library, and participating in cleanup efforts around Lake Mattoon.
